Mohamed Shalaby
Mohamed graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2005, went on to earn a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2012, and currently, is studying for a master’s degree in Pain Management from the University of Sydney. He began his professional career for more than 18 years in different private clinics overseas and in Australia. Notably, he is always keen to achieve the patient’s goals with the appropriate and reasonable treatment.
Mohamed is always seeking new challenges in his life. Alongside this, he strives to make every moment as positive as possible. Utilising both of these aspects, his journey began with a strong desire to help others improve their physical well-being. He has dedicated himself to extensive education and training, mastering the human body, movement, and rehabilitation techniques. Over time, Mohamed has gained experience working with diverse patients, from those recovering from injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions.
Mohamed believes that the insistence on manual therapy, proper sequencing of muscles, and managing chronic pain will move the patients into functional movement and exercise with confidence. As a valued member of the getback Berwick team, Mohamed is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting individuals in achieving long-term recovery and improved quality of life.
Mohamed Nasr
Mohamed Nasr is a graduate Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
Physiotherapist with over 12 years of hands-on experience in treating musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, and Hand therapy. Highly skilled in performing comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Mohamed worked as a physiotherapist for the National Volleyball Team overseas for numerous World Cup championships. He delivered physiotherapy services for youth players during national and international volleyball championships.
Mohamed provided on-site care during major events, including the Youth Boys World Cup Championships in Italy and Argentina, the Youth Boys African Nations Championship in South Africa, as well as the Arab Championship in Lebanon. Specialised in injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for high-performance athletes.
In addition to the sports injuries clinical experience, he also gained experience from working in a specialised centre for physiotherapy, conducting thorough assessments of patients to diagnose and develop personalised treatment plans for a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Mohamed was the physiotherapist Team Leader for one of the most popular sports clubs overseas, working with handball teams.
Mohamed has a great knowledge and experience in hand therapy, worked for Action Rehab, one of the most popular hand therapy specialist clinics in Australia.
Mohamed strives to help patients return to their pre-injury level, whether that be work, sport, or anything that is important to them. Mohamed particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in Physiotherapy research and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for his patients.
